Project Scope
1
Demo & Removal
Remove wood-framed walls, wood fence, existing tan pavers, plant beds, bushes, and all debris. Pomegranate tree remains in place.
2
Excavation & Grading
Excavate to ICPI depth specs, grade yard for proper drainage, move excess rock to rear yard area.
3
Sod & Irrigation
Install new sod to cover former garden section, extend irrigation with new valve, sprinkler head, and 3/4" future utility pipe under baserock.
4
Paver Walkways
Belgard Holland pavers in Graphite — path from side gate through backyard, sloped away from house. Melville Edger in Anthracite creates a clean running border surrounding turf.
5
Step Stones & Water Feature Pad
3'×2' Belgard Dimension 24×36 Graphite DuraFusion stepping stones on compacted base, straight with curve pattern — surrounding the decorative water feature area.
6
Planter Bed Extension
Extend planter along fence in lower-left corner to side fence. 12"×12" concrete footings, pressure treated lumber boards — matching existing planter running length of yard.
Design Vision

This design reconfigures the backyard from a patchwork of aging tan pavers, overgrown planter beds, and fragmented grass areas into a clean, cohesive outdoor living space with clear zones for lawn, hardscape, and garden.

The existing garden section and planter beds are cleared and replaced with extended sod, giving the yard a consistent turf field that connects to the expanded irrigation system. A Belgard Holland paver path in Graphite runs from the side gate into the backyard, sloped away from the house for drainage, with a Melville Edger in Anthracite creating a sharp border around the turf perimeter.

At the focal point of the yard, 3'×2' Belgard Dimension 24×36 stepping stones in Graphite DuraFusion create a decorative pad surrounding the water feature area. The new planter bed extension along the lower fence mirrors the existing planters, completing the garden framework and tying the full yard together with architectural consistency.
