3
Garden Feature & Lighting

4
Redwood Fence & Gate
Install 6ft Good Neighbor redwood fence along left side with a 4ft-wide pedestrian gate. Posts set in concrete footings at 6–8ft intervals. Heavy-duty galvanized hinges and latch. Natural finish.
5
Trex Platform Deck
Construct a 22'×15'×6" single-step Trex Enhance platform deck off the back door. Client-choice color. Includes all footings, posts, beams, boards, and fascia. Full materials and labor.

Design Vision

This design transforms a property at transition — the old deck already gone, the front yard overgrown and disconnected — into a cohesive outdoor environment with a clear sense of arrival, privacy, and backyard living.

At the front, the fern tree and center garden give way to a flowing 3.5ft-wide Mega-Arbel path in Toscana that leads from the driveway to a new 6ft redwood gate. The path's irregular flagstone-look creates organic movement through the yard, while a framed garden section with Catalina Grana pavers, Agave, and Vista LED up lights turns the corner into a curated focal point with nighttime drama.

In the backyard, a 22'×15' Trex Enhance platform deck anchors the space off the back door — low-profile, clean, and built to last. A wide sod field extends alongside it, edged cleanly in Catalina Toscana, with the property's own white rock repurposed to dress the garden beds along the back fence. Two feet of privacy lattice along the back and left fences rounds out the transformation, adding screening without sacrificing light or air.
